Will you be in Curaçao during Easter? Then you’re in luck! Because on Easter Monday, the island really comes alive during the Seú Parade – a colorful parade full of music, dance and local tradition. This annual event is a cultural highlight not to be missed during your trip to Curaçao.

What is the Seú Parade?
The Seú, also called Marcha di Seú, is a traditional harvest parade with deep roots in Curaçao history. Originally a festive parade used by workers to celebrate the harvest, today it has grown into a lively cultural event where young and old come together in colorful costumes, traditional music and dance.
You’ll see dancers in folkloric attire, live music with instruments such as the tambú and chapi, and groups telling the story of the harvest season – from the field to the celebration.
When does the Seú Parade take place?
The Seú Parade is held every year on Easter Monday. In 2025, that falls on Monday, April 21. The parade starts at 10 a.m.
Route Seú Parade 2025
The Seú Parade usually follows the same route every year, and this is also the case for 2025:

-
Then via the Rooseveltweg
-
Then onto Nijlweg & Weg naar Welgelegen toward Otrobanda
-
The parade ends at the Aqualectra building in Mundu Nobo (near Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort in Otrobanda).
Along the route there is plenty of room to watch, take photos or just dance along to the rhythms of Curaçao.
